Future phases or additional awards of the LymeX Diagnostics Prize are subject to change at the discretion of the competition administrator, and availability and approval of funds.
Prizes
The LymeX Diagnostics Prize is made possible thanks to a more than $10 million pledge from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation.
In Phase 3 six teams are planning clinical performance studies. In Phase 4 up to seven teams will perform clinical performance studies and file their regulatory submissions to the FDA.

Phase 1 awarded 10 teams an equal share of $1 million.
Phase 2 awarded $2 million; nine teams received $75,000 interim prizes, and five Phase 2 winners received $265,000 each.
